STRESS

Stress Management

According to Occupational Health and Safety News and the National Council on Compensation of Insurance, up to 90% of all visits to primary care physicians are for stress-related complaints.

The morbidity and mortality due to stress-related illness is alarming. Emotional stress is a major contributing factor to the six leading causes of death in the United States: cancer, coronary heart disease, accidental injuries, respiratory disorders, cirrhosis of the liver and suicide.

It's statistics like these and personal experiences with managing stress that lead to the development of our Stress Management Program. By using Muscle Activation Techniques® on a weekly basis we are able to increase the body's ability to tolerate the stresses that it experiences day-in and day-out.
